An Experimental Workshop in New Media Art',
August1-15, 2001 held at Baroda
Artists experiment with Digital Technology
22 senior & emerging contemporary Indian artists of national and international repute gathered together at Vadodara, from August 1-15,2001, in a digital art workshop organized by ARTunderground. The workshop was designed to provide a platform to the artists to explore the digital medium.
In the course of the 15-day workshop the artists created about 125 digital images and 6 animation films, to explore the emerging symbiosis between aesthetics, technology and spirituality.
